Come and get to know me!
Founder of The Multicoloured Space | Educator | Creative | Certified Life Coach
Hi, I’m Shaneen—an artist, educator, and certified life coach passionate about empowering young people and celebrating imagination. I founded The Multicoloured Space to bring creativity, healing, and purpose together in one vibrant, inclusive space.
Rooted in a deeply creative family and driven by a love for helping others, my journey weaves through dance, makeup artistry, teaching, and visual arts. After a life-altering car accident in 2018, I turned to painting as a form of therapy. What began as healing soon grew into a mission: to use art as a tool to reconnect people—especially those in Black African & Caribbean communities—with their imagination, voice, and potential.
At The Multicoloured Space, I create, educate, and uplift. I work with youth, vulnerable groups, families and community partners through workshops, coaching, and collaborative art projects. My work has been showcased across London—from the London Festival of Architecture to the TUC Windrush 75 exhibition—and I continue to speak, mentor, and guide with love and purpose.
This space exists to challenge stereotypes, spark joy, and remind us all: you are safe here, you are seen, and your creativity matters.
Head over to my blog page to read more about my journey here! Feel free to leave a comment and share your thoughts!
Welcome to my space, which is now your space! It’s great to meet you!
